Please read the following booking terms and conditions carefully before completing the confirmation form at the bottom of the page.
For bookings made more than 10 weeks before departure, a land deposit of 20% is required. Flights will have to be paid in full if they are part of your package. There are certain exceptions to these deposit requirements (see below). If the booking is made within 10 weeks of departure full payment will be required. A credit card number will be accepted for the deposit/full payment.
Air Transportation: Please note that if you take flights within Europe or internally in the USA, different weight restrictions may apply for these flights and that individual airlines have different policies regarding baggage handling and weight restrictions. Please ask your vacation specialist for further information.
FlyGlobespan Flights:
Special Promotional Fares: A maximum of four tickets at our special promotional fares is available per booking. Names of travelling passengers must be given at the time of booking in the same format as they appear on the passengers passports. No name changes are permissable on the promotional fare tickets. These tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Ticket changes: For any allowable changes there is a fee of $50. Any date changes where permitted will incur this fee plus the full ticket price on the new date will be payable in addition.
Baggage Allowance:
Economy Class - Free baggage allowance is 20kg
Premium Economy Class - Free baggage allowance is 30kg
Business Class - Free baggage allowance is 40kg
Cabin baggage which is part of your total free baggage allowance, is restricted to dimensions not in excess of 55x45x20cm (including wheels and handles) per passenger. Passengers must be able to store their hand luggage safely in the overhead storage bins without assistance. Infants under the age of 2 years who have only paid the infant fare, are not entitled to a baggage allowance.
Meals: Meals are not included in the price of your ticket and must be booked and paid for in advance of your flight departure. The meal cost is an additional $15 per person per flight segment. You will not be able to purchase a meal on board your flight unless it has been booked and paid for in advance.
Hotel Accommodation: Hotel reservations will be put in place on receipt of deposit/full payment and the guests acceptance of myguideNewEngland terms & conditions. myguideNewEngland will endeavour to book the hotels requested by the guest but will offer suitable alternatives if the guests first choice is not available. The booking deposit/payment is refundable if your first choice of accommodation is not available and the alternative offered is not suitable to you. Cancellation or changes made to hotel reservations are subject to a cancellation/change fee imposed by the hotel plus a myguideNewEngland administrative fee of 20% of the total cost of the accommodation cancelled.
General Cancellation Fees:
Up to 10 weeks before date of arrival - loss of deposit
10 to 6 weeks before arrival - 50%
6 to 2 weeks before arrival - 75%
Less than 2 weeks - 100%
Unused package arrangements: myguideNewEngland cannot make refunds or exchanges for unused accommodations, services or features of any package unless agreed upon prior to departure. Claims or disputes should be submitted to myguideNewEngland in writing no later than 28 days after the end of the tour.
Travel Insurance:
myguideNewEngland is not responsible for mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God, misconnections or related expenses to/from flights or other circumstances beyond its control. To guard against unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend you purchase optional travel insurance. For details please enquire from one of our Vacation Specialists.
Payment Policy: Full payment must be made no later than 10 weeks prior to arrival date. myguideNewEngland accepts payment by cheque or major credit cards. If payment is not received, reservations will automatically cancel and deposit payment become forfeit. No travel documents will be sent out until full payment has been received. Payments by cheque will not be accepted within 21 days of arrival. In this case myguideNewEngland will supply bank details to process payment by money transfer.
Documents: Documents will be shipped by ground service provided full payment has been received. We need sufficient notice to arrange for early delivery by regular service if customers intend to leave home prior to their travel arrangements with myguideNewEngland. Late bookings may incur an express service delivery charge.
Amendment Fees: You will be charged an amendment fee of $30 per adult ("Amendment Fee") by myguideNewEngland for all permitted passenger-initiated changes made after receipt of deposit or full payment by myguideNewEngland. Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts and Self Catering Apartments may charge a fee for changes or cancellation. Airlines may charge significant change and cancellation fees which vary by carrier. Name changes will be treated as a cancellation and all cancellation fees will apply. Once travel has commenced, any changes or cancellation will be at the expense of the passenger.
Cancellation: Package dates are not guaranteed. Should the package supplier cancel the itinerary prior to arrival myguideNewEngland will offer the next available date at no additional land cost. If this is not acceptable, a full refund of all monies paid to myguideNewEngland will be made. myguideNewEngland cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a package booking. If you purchase a non-refundable airline ticket, ensure that your travel agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued as myguideNewEngland is not responsible for any cancellation penalties due to non-refundable airfares.
Responsibilty: myguideNewEngland Limited is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a myguideNewEngland Guest incurs on any travel (organised by myguideNewEngland), arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organisation, whether or not such company is rendering any services supplied to myguideNewEngland. All tickets and vouchers are issued and supplied subject to the foregoing and to any and all terms and conditions under which transportation and services are provided. myguideNewEngland accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations due to mechanical problems, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. Customers must bear all such losses or expenses. Airline tariffs limit liability for passenger baggage.
Trip Delay:
myguideNewEngland will not be in a position to reimburse or compensate for lost travel arrangements due to your arrival into New England being delayed beyond your scheduled arrival date because of delay or cancellation by the air/ferry carrier .
Important Notice: Rates on all myguideNewEngland websites were valid at the time they were published on our websites. All prices are shown in the websites relevant currencies. myguideNewEngland reserves the right to alter prices existing at the time prior to departure and without prior notice if circumstances so warrant. Any devaluation or revaluation of currencies may affect published prices.
Law: Passenger contract with myguideNewEngland is subject exclusively to Irish Law and Jurisdiction for Irish Tours and Packages and any other travel arrangements.
