Omni Parker House Hotel
The Omni Parker House is a venerable landmark Boston hotel situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance of Boston’s key historic attractions.
One of America’s longest running luxury hotels, the Omni Parker House Hotel opened its doors in 1855 and maintains the refinement and character of this bygone age while offering all the modern comforts and facilities expected by today’s traveller.

Each of the hotel’s luxuriously appointed guest rooms blend authentic period décor with contemporary amenities and facilities. Soothing hues, richly coloured fabrics, custom cherry furnishings and well-polished heirlooms inhabit each immaculately kept room.

The Omni Parker offers unforgettable fine dining at the historic Parkers Restaurant. It was in these very kitchens that legendary local dishes such as Boston Cream Pie, the Parker House Roll and Boston Scrod were created and Parkers Restaurant maintains this proud tradition of fine dining in sumptuous surroundings with impeccable service throughout. While the hotel’s bars, Parker’s Bar and the Last Hurrah add further to the Omni Parker’s old world charm.

As a distinguished landmark hotel, the Omni Parker House can boast a few interesting historic footnotes. In the 19th century the Omni Parker House was home to the Saturday Night Club, a literary gathering consisting such New England luminaries as Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The hotel was also a popular meeting place for politicians particularly JFK, who announced his candidacy for congress in the hotel’s Press Room, as well as proposing to Jackie Kennedy and holding his Stag party at the Omni Parker.

Situated on School Street, the Omni Parker House puts you right in the heart of Boston’s historic landmarks. The red line of the Freedom Trail passes outside the hotel’s entrance to the Old State House where the Declaration of Independence was read for the first time and on to famous landmarks like Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market, Boston Common and Bunker Hill .
