Located in the heart of Boston’s main shopping district, the Prudential Center is home to over 75 exclusive shops as well as the Prudential Tower & Skywalk offering the best views of the city.
Situated along Boylston Street, the Prudential Center is one of Boston’s biggest shopping malls home to a number of restaurants and a fabulous selection of exclusive designer stores such as Tiffany’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Ann Taylor, Swarovski and many more.
At the heart of the building is the 52-storey Prudential Tower. At the Skywalk Observatory on the 50th floor you can take in exhilarating panoramas of Boston, while listening to the informative if slightly odd audio tour with local characters recounting tidbits of local history and explaining the sights. The Skywalk also includes an exhibition on the various immigrant groups that have made Boston their home throughout the years. On the top floor is the Top of the Hub restaurant some 750ft above the city.
‘The Pru’ took six years to build and was opened in 1965 and encompasses the Hynes Convention Center and is linked to Copely Place by a skyway. Outside the Pru, you can take a Beantown Trolley Tour or a Boston Duck Tour on a WWII amphibious vehicle.
